In all of her work and reflected in the exhibits at Galerie Hertrich, inspiration and destruction are constantly battling together to create a push and pull between the uplifting magic and immense weight of the world. In the artistic process, lightness is created when one has freedom from literalness, despite at times focusing on heavy subject matter.
